Dissertation Looming

As the title suggests we are starting the dissertation soon, we have to do a 2000 word proposal and a 15 minute presentation for the 1st May, why oh why do they insist on making us do stupid presentations, I hate them! I've been dreading doing the dissertation since I knew I wanted to go to uni and now it's here. [...]

My proposed dissertation topic subject centers around advertising, I think I am going to be comparing the rules and semiotics used in printed advertising with that of advertising used on the web. But i'm not sure as yet, I think I need to narrow it down and start doing some reading for it!
