Don't Forget Apple Care!

My PowerBook adapter died the other day, much to my annoyance as I've only had it since February [...]

I'm beginning to think that where I live has unusual electrical activity. Since moving here three washing machines, a printer and my Powerbook adapter have stopped working and my fridge has started to make a funny noise. It's a good job all of these things are under warranty (except the fridge)!

Sometimes it's actually a benefit to get things that don't work, I recieved an upgrade from HP for my printer as the one I had was out of stock, I didn't get any upgrades from Apple for my adapter, but it did arrive the day after I contacted them, which was pretty impressive.

I strongly recommend getting Apple Care if you are considering buying anything from Apple, you wouldn't like to end up paying out £50 for a broken adapter that is only four months old, and by the looks of things the adapter problem is a widespread issue which is currently going through the courts in America. At least with Apple Care you are covered for three years.

Flickr... As you may have noticed I haven't updated my flickr account in a while, the reason being I've lost the charger for my camera, but instead of replacing just the cable I've decided that it's about time I updated my three mega pixal cybershot with a new higher specification one. I want to stick with a Cybershot because they are both reliable and they hold their value not to mention I can use my memory sticks in the new one without buying new ones. I'm keeping a look out for a good deal. Fingers crossed that I find one soon, it's my friends wedding in a couple of weeks.
